The 19 inch card cages are designed with the highest level of flexibility to support various form factors and bus systems. This allows the customer to select from a variety of off-the-shelf configurations in various height and width standards. EMC shielding and power supplies according to CE regulations are implemented. The housing is manufactured from anodized aluminum with chromate surfaces on all direct contact areas to allow for low impedance connections. A power supply of 250W is used. The card cages can be equipped with VMEbus, VME64bus and cPCI bus. In addition to standard configurations, tailor-made versions are available. Customized bus systems, power supplies and I/O wiring can be implemented as needed. For acceptance testing environmental tests can be performed in accordance with customer requirements.
